Walgreens embarked on a journey to revitalize its brand while retaining its loyal customer base and attracting a younger audience. Leading a team of art directors, designers, and writers, I played a pivotal role in guiding the rebranding efforts across various initiatives, including AARP, Balance Rewards, Beauty, Health & Wellness, Owned Brands, and Pilot Programs. The challenge was to refresh the brand's tone, design, and photography style across all communications without alienating existing customers. Our work spanned consumer-facing campaigns across digital, direct mail, free-standing inserts, in-store displays, and print media. Despite the complexity, we successfully introduced the new brand on time, seamlessly transitioning without any disruption to consumers. Walgreens hailed the endeavor as a resounding success.
